The American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is encouraging the adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors throughout the year to reduce cancer risk. Evidence suggests that by taking preventive measures that will help you stay well – regular screening (check), regular exercise (move) a healthy diet (nourish), and quitting smoking (quit) – you can reduce your risk of cancer by nearly half. The American Cancer Society’s Great American Health Challenge will help Hoosiers create and maintain a plan to get healthy and stay healthy while possibly reducing their cancer risk.
